How to convert WebP to PDF

  1. Choose or drop your WebP images.
  2. Drag them into order, then choose a page size and margin.
  3. Select Convert to PDF and download the file.

Why the PDF can be larger

Your browser decodes each WebP image and the pixels are stored in the PDF without loss. WebP is a very compact format, so the PDF is often bigger than the original files. If size matters, run the result through Compress PDF.

Page size and margins

Fit image makes each page exactly the size of its image. A4 and US Letter place the image on a standard page, scaled to fit and centred, which is what you want for printing. Margin adds no border, a small one or a large one around the image.

Questions about WebP to PDF

Are my files uploaded when I convert WebP to PDF?

No. Scissor PDF runs a PDF engine written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your disk into the page's memory, processed there and saved back to your device. The site has no upload endpoint, and its Content Security Policy blocks the page from sending data to any other server.

Why is my PDF bigger than my WebP files?

The images are stored losslessly, which takes more space than WebP compression. Compress PDF can make the file smaller.

Does every image get its own page?

Yes. One image per page, in the order you arrange them.

Which page size should I choose?

Fit image if the PDF is for viewing on screen. A4 or US Letter if you plan to print it.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is free, with no account, no daily task limit and no watermark added to your documents. Because the work happens on your own computer, there is no server cost per file for us to recover.
