A smaller file, not just hidden pages
Deleted pages are removed together with any images and fonts only they used, so the new file is genuinely smaller. Links and bookmarks that pointed at removed pages are cleaned up.
Questions about Delete pages
Are my files uploaded when I delete pages?
No. Scissor PDF runs a PDF engine written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your disk into the page's memory, processed there and saved back to your device. The site has no upload endpoint, and its Content Security Policy blocks the page from sending data to any other server.
Can I delete several pages at once?
Yes. Click as many pages as you like, or type a list such as 1, 4-6, 10.
Can I get a deleted page back?
Before saving, click it again to keep it. After saving, your original file is still on your device unchanged.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free, with no account, no daily task limit and no watermark added to your documents. Because the work happens on your own computer, there is no server cost per file for us to recover.
