How to convert PNG to PDF
- Choose or drop your PNG images. Screenshots work too.
- Drag the images into the order you want, then choose a page size and margin.
- Select Convert to PDF and download the file.
Lossless, with transparency kept
PNG images are stored in the PDF without recompression, so text in screenshots stays crisp and every pixel is the same as in the original. Transparent areas stay transparent instead of turning black or grey.
Page size and margins
Fit image makes each page exactly the size of its image. A4 and US Letter place the image on a standard page, scaled to fit and centred, which is what you want for printing. Margin adds no border, a small one or a large one around the image.
Questions about PNG to PDF
Are my files uploaded when I convert PNG to PDF?
No. Scissor PDF runs a PDF engine written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your disk into the page's memory, processed there and saved back to your device. The site has no upload endpoint, and its Content Security Policy blocks the page from sending data to any other server.
Can I put several PNGs on one page?
No. Each image gets its own page. To place several pages on one sheet afterwards, use Pages per sheet.
Will my screenshots lose quality?
No. PNG data is stored losslessly, so the PDF shows exactly the pixels of your images.
I have JPG photos, not PNG. What should I use?
Use JPG to PDF. It keeps your photos in their original JPEG quality.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free, with no account, no daily task limit and no watermark added to your documents. Because the work happens on your own computer, there is no server cost per file for us to recover.
