How to put 2 or 4 pages on one sheet

  1. Choose or drop the PDF.
  2. Pick 2 or 4 pages per sheet and the paper size.
  3. Select Combine pages, then print or share the new PDF.

Layouts

Two pages sit side by side on a landscape sheet. Four pages fill a portrait sheet in a 2 by 2 grid, in reading order. Each page is scaled to fit its space without distortion, and rotated pages stay the right way up.

Quality

Pages are placed as they are, not rendered as pictures, so text stays sharp and searchable at any zoom level.

Questions about Pages per sheet

Are my files uploaded when I combine pages?

No. Scissor PDF runs a PDF engine written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your disk into the page's memory, processed there and saved back to your device. The site has no upload endpoint, and its Content Security Policy blocks the page from sending data to any other server.

What paper size is used?

Same as PDF uses the size of the first page. You can also choose A4 or US Letter.

Do links and form fields still work?

Page content is kept, but links, comments and form fields are not carried over to the combined sheets.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is free, with no account, no daily task limit and no watermark added to your documents. Because the work happens on your own computer, there is no server cost per file for us to recover.
